Avatar Island is your first stop because we'll show you how to make the most dazzling avatar possible--and you don't need any programming or artistic skills!!
Captain Borgnine is your host on Avatar Island. He and his crew of talented artists and programmers are waiting for you to arrive just to show you around. You'll also meet Trieste Janus, the island's beautiful manager and maybe even bump into Fronic Beck, the mad genius responsible for bringing our avatars' stunning appearences to life.
No matter what you're looking for, starting your journey from Avatar Island is the best thing you can do. Our Welcome Center is designed to show you how to move around in Second Life (you'll need to know how to fly!) and how to communicate with other residents. You'll receive helpful instruction on how to find and purchase anything you can imagine--and plenty that you'd never think of! There's also a lot of free gifts for new residents.
